Development Program Registration Open

Maitland Soccer Club and GPS Florida are excited to open the registration for the Fall soccer program. It is the clubs aim to help build a strong set of teams in the older age groups by helping develop players at the younger age groups. This program is based on the enjoyment of the players because if they are not enjoying what they are doing then they are not learning.

You can enter a team or you can enter individually and you will be assigned a team.
For more information on team registration please contact Steve Thurlby on [email protected]

The training portion of the program will the teams train as a group with their volunteer coach under the guidance of our professional coaches and the MSC curriculum.
Schedules are dependent on number of teams.

Training
The parent coaches / volunteers will be used to help the coaches implement the curriculum and the coaches will help show them how to create a good environment for learning. A professional coach will be used to oversee the sessions.
The teams will practice within their group following a Maitland Soccer Club curriculum that will be explained to the parent coaches / volunteers before the session and demonstrated throughout the session.

Our aim is to have a fun, active hour where the players are picking up soccer specific skills to help them progress in the game.

Teams
There will be a maximum of 10 players per team.
Every player will play a minimum of half the game and this must be divided up through the game.
