The fields, are being developed by Atlantic Sports Group, who previously built Forekicks III in Taunton, Massachusetts and will replace the grass surfaces currently operating as Field 1 and Field 2 at the GPS-NH complex. Each field will be multi-use with 11v11, 8v8 and 6v6 lines and goals. Fields 3 and 4 will be retained as natural grass surfaces fields for additional 11v11 and 8v8 purposes.

The new complex will serve as the home of the GPS-NH Premier and Junior Premier programs as well as the Bedford Recreation program run by GPS-NH professional coaching staff.  Teams will be able to train year round on the new surface and the fall and spring seasons will be able to run longer and start earlier, respectively, due to the addition of lights.

“We are extremely excited about the development of the new complex and the impact this will have on player development”, said GPS-NH General Manager Lenny Webb.  “Contact time will increase and the quality of the surface will provide a perfect platform for developing technical players at the youngest ages, beginning with our recreation program,” said Webb.

Construction on the fields will begin on June 1st and in addition to practice and games, the fields will serve as the home for GPS-NH tournaments over Memorial Day and the GPS-NH Preseason tournament in August and will also be utilized by Bedford High School varsity teams and a local lacrosse group.

The existing field complex has been part of the NH Classics organization for over 15 years.  In 2011 the Classics, Granite SC and GPS merged to create New Hampshire Premier Soccer Academy (NHPSA), later to become GPS-NH.  Since formation GPS-NH have won 15 State Championships and one USYS Regional Championship.  The Boys program is a member club of the US Club Soccer National Premier League in the New England Premiership (NEP).

“Since the merge of all three organizations, GPS-NH has grown to become one of the strongest clubs in New England” said Webb.  “These exciting developments are another major step in the club’s history as we look to build on the success we have achieved in the last few years.”
