ORLANDO, FL – 16 April 2015 – FC America would like to congratulate Karl York and Angel Moulton on their selection to the NSCAA High School All-Region/All-America Team. Karl and Angel are both members of Coach Mills’ u16 Premier Team; however, they attend Lake Highland Preparatory School and Orangewood Christian respectively. Angel was a pivotal member of the Orangewood team that won an FHSAA 1A State Championship this past season.

York led Lake Highland in scoring this year and Moulton was second for the Rams.

FC America strongly supports High School soccer and its value that it has to the overall development of the players. “High School soccer might not always be the best looking soccer, but it provides the players with memories that will last a lifetime. There is just something special to the players about pulling on the shirt of their school. For the majority of players, it’s the closest they will come to feeling what it feels like to pull on their National Team shirt,” said General Manager Graham Munro.

“This is fantastic for these boys. To receive this honor as Sophomores is a big deal. There are a lot of players in the Southeast Region and the idea that we have two players to make this All-America shortlist is great,” said Boys D.O.C. Chris Mills. “I have worked with both players for two years now, and they have come a long way – I cannot wait to see what the next two years hold.”
